The plenary sessions of General Conference 2023 concluded Friday with important decisions on several matters.

Delegates voted 224-14 to approve the Bishops Search Committee’s recommendation of Keith Cowart as lead bishop.

Delegates voted 236-4 to approve the Board of Administration election results.

Resolution 601, “Lay Administered Sacraments,” was approved 230-14 as amended.

Delegates voted 214-26 to reject Resolution 424, “XLT Language in BOD.”

Resolution 603, “Freeing Kingdom Workers,” was referred to the Board of Administration, Superintendent Leadership Team, and Free Methodist World Missions area directors by a vote of 172-61.
